CHYMORGEN is close to the rugged Atlantic coastline of Cornwall
Penwith Peninsula situated near the village of Botallack,
close to the town of St Just and within a short distance from
Cape Cornwall.
It is a detached house with a large veranda, surrounded by our garden, which is
protected by old granite walls,
where you are invited to rest and relax.
Built just after the turn of the last century as a tin mine captain's
house, much of its original charm survived: the impressive hall with oak
staircase, wood panelled sitting room,
open fires, conservatory and well appointed rooms with beautiful views to the
sea and surrounding countryside.
All rooms are spacious, individually decorated, bright and welcoming.
There is a bathroom and a shower room to share.
You will enjoy the friendly
atmosphere, the excellent breakfast
buffet - mainly from organic and local produce - offering fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt - a selection of cheeses and meats, sometimes fish and our delicious home made breads and spreads.
Cooked breakfast is available only on special request and at extra cost.
CHYMORGEN provides the ideal setting for nature enthusiasts and people interested in wildlife - this part of Cornwall
is famous for its rare fauna and flora.
Spring starts much earlier than elsewhere with wild
primroses, daffodils and the coconut scented gorse and from the end
of April bluebells spread their magic blue carpets over the landscape.
Summer is a great time to enjoy the fabulous beaches like Sennen
for surfing, swimming and sunbathing or play golf on Cape Cornwall Golf Course!
Take advantage of the quieter times from autumn onwards to discover deserted coves,
find your own little beach or have the ancient
places to yourself.
We provide a wide range of information about the area and events to
help you make the most of your stay.
